Natural Resource Technology has retained Engineering Partners to design a 2000 foot long sheet pile containment wall at a Superfund site in Duluth, MN. Engineering Partners’ scope of services includes the evaluation of global stability and development of a geotechnical instrumentation plan to monitor performance. American Engineering Testing is acting as a subconsultant to Engineering Partners.

Apache Stainless Steel retained Engineering Partners to evaluate the structural capacity of proposed overhead crane bays in an existing building and to design improvements.

Veit Companies has retained Engineering Partners to analyze and design a temporary and permanent 30’ high foundation wall system for the proposed Alumni Center at Iowa State University in Ames, IA. The wall system will serve as a load carrying member of the structure.

Engineering Partners worked with Carl Bolander & Sons Company to develop a unique sheet pile design, which served as the structural foundation wall and earth retention system for the Flour Sack Flats Housing development in Minneapolis, MN.

Ames Construction retained Engineering Partners to design a jacking pit on the Empire Phase II- Rosemount Interceptor project in Rosemount, MN. A special design of the reaction frame was required to avoid load stress distribution to an adjacent buried structure.

Carl Bolander & Sons Company retained Engineering Partners to design helical pier foundations for several structures at Holman Field in Minneapolis, MN.

Engineering Partners provided peer review services to Montgomery Associates/Resource Solutions on the Sagamore Development in Porter County, IN.

Veit Companies has retained Engineering Partners to design a temporary retention system to stabilize an existing 30’ high wall of the original Guthrie Center Theater in Minneapolis, MN during the demolition process.

Engineering and Construction Innovations retained Engineering Partners to design a pumping station for the Metropolitan Council Environmental Services in Hugo, MN. The 20’ x 40’ pumping station was designed as a caisson and sunk 20’ to the final design elevation.

Veit Companies retained Engineering Partners for a design-build project as part of the Dallas County, IA Courthouse renovations. Micro-piles carrying a 50k design load were installed inside the existing building to support new foundations.

Engineering Partners was retained by Kiewit Construction to install vibrating wire extensometers for the Michigan Street Tunnel in Grand Rapids, MI.

RJS Construction Group selected Engineering Partners to perform anchor proof tests as part of the ship channel repairs in the Duluth Harbor.

Cook Composites and Polymers
(CCP) retained Engineering Partners to perform a feasibility study and prepare a preliminary budget for a new rail spur and chemical unloading facility at their Chatham, VA plant.

EP Engineering Partners performed a value engineering study for Engineering & Construction Innovations to evaluate construction of a wet well in Hugo, MN using caisson sinking methods.

Michels Pipeline Construction has retained Engineering Partners to perform a precondition survey and install geotechnical instrumentation for an interceptor sewer tunnel in Appleton, WI.

Card Bolander & Sons Co. engaged Engineering Partners to design a micro-pile foundation system, as an alternative to drilled piers, at the Nassef Heart Hospital in Minneapolis, MN.

Engineering Partners has been retained by the Village of Lake Delton, WI and MSA Professional Services to evaluate alternative earth retention systems and prepare a final design for construction of a 30 foot deep pumping station.

Engineering Partners has formed an alliance with Speedway Sand & Gravel, Middleton, WI to provide design-build services for earth retention systems and underpinning on local projects. As part of this initiative, Engineering Partners is designing shoring systems for numerous excavations on the Campus Utility Upgrade project on the UW-Madison campus.

Ames Construction has retained Engineering Partners to prepare a Work Plan for consolidation grouting of tunnel sections on the Empire Phase III/Rosemount Interceptor project in Rosemount, MN. The firm will also oversee implementation of the grouting program.

Veit Companies has retained Engineering Partners to design a permanent soil-nail earth retention system for a chilled water line and shaft on the University of Iowa campus in Iowa City, IA.

Engineering Partners has been contracted by Northland Construction to design the false work and shoring system for construction of the McQuade Road Bridge in Duluth, MN.

Carl Bolander & Sons Co.
has retained Engineering Partners to evaluate subsurface conditions and design the foundation system for the Bryant Hill development near St. Paul, MN. The residential development will be constructed over a former demolition waste area. Engineering Partners is also working with Bolander and Fru-Con Construction Corp. to prepare a demolition plan for the Four Bears Bridge over the Missouri River near New Town, ND.

Engineering Partners was contracted by RETEC to design a temporary earth retention system to facilitate excavation and remediation of a former coal gasification site at the Xcel High Bridge power plant in St. Paul, MN.

Bogdan Winiarczyk, P.E. has joined Engineering Partners as a Senior Structural Engineer and Associate. Bogdan has 30 years of engineering design and heavy construction experience. His addition to the firm enhances its capabilities in the analysis and design of underground, heavy industrial and water retaining structures.

has been selected by S.M. Hentges & Sons Co. to perform precondition surveys and install geotechnical instrumentation on the West Chaska Interceptor Sewer project in Chaska, MN.

Carl Bolander & Sons Co. has completeld the demolition of the 17 story Grand Hotel building in Bloomington, MN, as part of the MAC runway safety expansion. Engineering Partners prepared the demolition plan for Bolander.

provided Value Engineering services to Sheehy Construction on the Rochester, MN WWTP improvements. Sheehy also retained Engineering Partners to perform precondition surveys for two projects.

Agriliance has retained Engineering Partners to analyze and redesign the anchorage system for a barge unloading operation in the Mississippi River, near downtown St. Paul, MN.

Wenck Associate has retained Engineering Partners to design a new outfall structure in Prior Lake, MN and the structural design for a new water treatment plant in Delano, MN. Engineering Partners also provided geotechnical services for the Prior Lake project.
